Privacy policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use magalufstagandhen.com or book with us, why we use it and the rights you have. It is written to meet the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR and Spanish data protection law.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is The Mallorca Guide, trading as Magaluf Stag and Hen, part of Go Magaluf.
- Tax ID: X8881979T
- Address: Punta Ballena, 07181 Magaluf, Calvià, Mallorca, Spain
- Email: hola@themallorcaguide.com
What we collect
- Enquiries. Your name, email address and mobile number if you give it, plus your trip details: party type, group size, dates, the events you are interested in and anything you write in your message.
- Bookings. The details needed to issue your tickets, such as names, contact details, the events booked and payment status. Card details are entered with the payment provider at checkout. We do not see or store your full card number.
- GroupPay. If your group uses GroupPay, the lead booker can see who has paid. Each person enters their own details when they pay.
- Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, your device type and your approximate location.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
If you give us details about other people in your group, please make sure they know you are sharing them. Our events are for adults aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
| What we do | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and preparing a quote | Steps you ask for before a contract |
| Issuing tickets, managing your booking and supporting you in resort | Performing our contract with you |
| Keeping accounting and tax records | Legal obligation |
| Keeping the site secure and dealing with disputes | Legitimate interests |
| Measuring how the site is used with Google Analytics | Your consent |
We need your name and email address to reply to you. Without them we cannot deal with your enquiry. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to, we do not sell your data, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.
Who we share it with
- Event operators and venues running the events you book, so they can admit your group.
- Go Magaluf and Bokun, for ticketing and online booking, and the payment provider shown at checkout.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes the forms.
- ZeptoMail (Zoho), which delivers enquiry emails to our team.
- Google, for Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
Airport transfers on this site are booked directly with KiwiTaxi through a form provided by Travelpayouts. Hotel links open Booking.com. Those companies handle the details you give them under their own privacy policies, and we may receive a commission from them.
Transfers outside the UK and EEA
Some of our providers, including Google and Cloudflare, are based in or process data in the United States or other countries. Where that happens we rely on an adequacy decision, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and the UK.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 2 years.
- Bookings and accounting records: 6 years, as required by Spanish commercial and tax law.
- Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.
- Your cookie choice: 12 months, then we ask you again.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or send it to another organisation. You can also object to how we use it. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, email hola@themallorcaguide.com. We will reply within one month. It is free, though we may ask you to confirm your identity.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD, or if you live in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security
This site uses encrypted connections, and we limit access to your data to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, so if a breach puts your data at risk we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will tell you about any significant change that affects a booking you have with us.
